backfired?

as a child i distinctly remember that my mother would always purchase the things we needed to ensure we had our own. i always thought it was so we wouldn't have to borrow from others and in turn 'bug' them. but i really don't know why my mom did it. but i am thinking the intended effect did not take. as an adult i have a hard time letting others borrow things. i always think to myself 'give it back, it's mine - get your own' - i never actually say these things because i know rationally 'how' to share, i just don't wanna.

sersly people, stop it

i - as a general rule - HATE speaker phone, there are a few people i will tolerate it from i.e. my boss but i loathe those who call you on speaker and after you answer PICK UP THE PHONE! it makes a terrible noise and all right in your ear - and it freaking hurts! stop it! it makes an awful noise.

on a completely separate note i love german cars when they have a 'k' instead of a 'c'

so, thanksgiving is 2 weeks from tomorrow! i love thanksgiving. not a fan of christmas - thanksgiving is my favorite.

we went to see elizabethtown the other night - i didn't really care for it, couldn't wait for it to end.

it couldn't decide between being
1 - a romantic movie
2 - a find yourself movie
3 - get to know your dad after he dies, father/son movie

it can be 2 of those but not all three, not all at the same time. just, no
